“I might start going to the odd numbers as well so I can squeeze even more in! ;) To be honest, I never really know what I’m doing next until just before it goes global. I loved working in TV but I’m really looking forward to getting back in the cinema with ‘Made of Stone’ now too, so I’ll just see what the Universe offers up once I’ve had a holiday post Roses release. I am but a slave to what my guts tells me to do irrelevant of what the world wants or expects. One thing I won’t be doing is the Next Bond, I’ve just turned that down due to them not letting me use Shimy (Milky) as Bond.”

On Thursday the 28th of February, The Approach in Nottingham will be hosting a night out with the cast of This Is England… which is precisely what this snippet of the event poster says…
The night will feature a Q&A with the cast at the start of the evening which will lead into a night of music from the three eras of This Is England (not to mention a chance to rub shoulders with the stars)!

The actor - who played Combo in the 2006 Shane Meadows film and its TV spinoff - told Digital Spy that This Is England 1990 will “definitely” start filming next year.
“Shane is doing the Stone Roses documentary, but we’re definitely gonna do [the new series] next year and my character is going to be coming out of prison, so I’m really looking forward to that,” Graham said.
The 39-year-old - promoting the DVD release of BBC drama Parade’s End - admitted that he was apprehensive when Meadows first approached him about reprising his role of Combo in a TV series.
“I think it was such a good film that stood up on its own,” he explained. “And then when he explained it to me, what I loved about it was getting to know the other characters of the story and letting them really become a part of the whole thing.
“You’re getting to see their life, their stories and everything. It’s a big ensemble piece now. I’m such a big fan of the show - I guess because I wasn’t in the TV series much, I watched it and thought it was fantastic!”
Graham went on to describe last year’s Christmas three-parter This Is England ‘88 as “phenomenal” and “an amazing piece of television”.
“Some of the acting was leagues apart from anything I’ve seen in a long time,” he said. “Vicky McClure was just breathtaking.”

The latest update of This Is England is set to be delayed after series creator Shane Meadows decided to focus on his documentary about the Stone Roses.
This Is England ‘90, which is the 1990 incarnation of the much-respected This Is England franchise, will apparently take a back-seat so that Meadows can concentrate on his Madchester band documentary.
The acclaimed writer-director admitted that he was behind schedule on his Stone Roses project and that as a consequence, both This Is England ‘90 and a ‘big-budget’ movie will be delayed.
‘I was hoping to get it out by Christmas,’ he told BBC News. ‘But over this weekend alone we were going to shoot 180 to 200 hours of footage.
‘We’ve got 35 cameras out there - I feel like I’m making the Titanic at the moment. I want to get it out by Christmas. That’s the dream.
‘The mad thing for me is, I was supposed to be doing This Is England ‘90. That was the one I was looking forward to the most because I was going to get to use the Roses’ music.
‘And the only thing that could have superseded me doing that was the Roses themselves reforming and asking me to make that film.
‘It was kind of like whatever I’m doing, I’ll put down because that’s like the job of the world for me.’
The Roses reunited for a number of concerts over the weekend, with long-time fan Meadows filming them both on-stage and behind the scenes for his documentary.
